I support architecture, debugging and operations for container and cluster environments with Apache Mesos, ClusterD, Kubernetes, Docker and service discovery.
My product
ClusterD – cluster infrastructure, continued.
I offer ClusterD as a product. ClusterD is a continuation of the Apache Mesos model that I started and continue to develop. The platform retains two-level scheduling, with resource offers from the master and workload-specific planning by frameworks, for modern Linux and container environments.
Make complexity visible
Distributed systems require more than isolated component knowledge. Responsibilities, resources, communication and failure behaviour all matter. I support microservices, Apache Mesos, frameworks and extensions in this environment while keeping the overall system in view.
Architecture
I map services, networks, resources and dependencies and make technical decisions traceable.
Debugging
Logs, states and communication paths are examined systematically instead of treating symptoms in isolation.
Operations
Monitoring, rollouts, restart behaviour and documentation are part of the solution, not a later project.

Technical context
ClusterD combines CPUs, memory, ports and other resources in a shared pool. Frameworks can provide their own scheduling and lifecycle logic. ClusterD uses modern Linux controls based on cgroups v2 and supports execution through the native Mesos containerizer or the Docker containerizer.
