Apache Mesos and Mainframes

The idea behind this theoretical software project is to run workload via Apache Mesos on mainframes. For example, to perform “One the Fly” calculations and immediately take over the results and process them outside of the mainframe.

As can be seen from the graphic, a corresponding service could run on the mainframe, which is addressed by the Executor to perform actions. With the same procedure further systems (e.g. OS/2) could be indirectly connected to Apache Mesos.
